Dani's Writing Journey

I’m currently on my last year of my masters in Creative Writing! With only two weeks left of my Romantic Literature course, I will only have three more classes left! I’m so tired of the work it’s taking to get this degree while working forty-hours a week and taking care of my physical and mental health (although I adore my Barre classes, which are currently keeping me sane), but I know all this work will be worth it!

Somehow I feel like I’ve been working towards graduation for an eternity while also feeling like I just started my program yesterday and it’s a bit surreal that I’m almost done. I’m so proud of myself for how much I’ve done and I cannot wait until I have my MFA!!!

Once I’m done with my courses, I can focus on editing a short story I wrote for class and begin a novel I planned for another, both I don’t have the time to fully nurture them. I’ll probably produce more poetry too, because lately my poems haven’t been up to my standards for myself (but at least I’m writing).
